Identified - ITS has identified the cause of the issues and is taking steps to remediate impact to affected services.

BSEDOM4 is currently back up in a degraded state. ITS has identified the cause of the issue in a failed hard drive. There is currently not a fix available due to the server being out of warranty. ITS is working with the department to develop a plan to migrate essential data over the University's NETDRIVE service and to Box. Issues are currently contained to the BSE Department on East Campus.
Labs, Classrooms, and Faculty/Staff data are currently affected in CHASE.

Identified - A problem with IP Address Management has been identified. Updates are very slow from the IPAM database to the internal DNS servers ITS will be restarting the IPAM service at 4 PM, console users will be disconnected but DNS and DHCP delivery should not be effected.

Investigating - Potential problem with CrashPlan Pro (NSave) is under investigation. Back up process on some client devices freezes intermittently when syncing with the CrashPlan server. Accounts impacted are receiving an email alert stating that the device has not backed up in over 5 days.

A ticket is currently open with the vendor; technicians are investigating the issue.

Monitoring - A service corruption inside the IP Address Management environment was repaired. All issues appear to have subsided, and all systems are performing as expected. Desktop computers may need to reboot to receive a new network connection. Devices on WiFi may need to reselect their preferred network (SSID).

We will continue to monitor for any reoccurring problems.

Update - We have found a syncing issue within the IP address management environment which resulted in a default gateway not being assigned to wireless or wired users. This occurred for new connections and possibly when DHCP leases were renewed. It is advised for desktops successfully connected to the network to NOT restart until we have fully resolved this.

Some devices that were not connecting are now able to connect to the network. We will provide another update hourly.

Investigating - Potential problem with TechSmith Relay is under investigation.
TechSmith began experiencing issues this afternoon with Relay sites due to nationwide hosting issues with their third-party service provider. As such, all TechSmith Relay sites are currently inaccessible. Technicians are investigating the issue.
